Hi welcome to the Yamaha WR pages .. we will try to
document what [if any] mod's we do to the bike plus
as will all our pages direct you to some useful sites.

But first some images of the "woof in sheeps clothing" ,

As you can see pretty much a standard well looked after machine. After
trying the 400+ class and discovering it just was'nt as much fun as the baby
250s, as soon as would allow the search was on. Due to the riders "age"
it had to have the leccy start which ment 03 or newer and as there was naff all
difference between 03 & 04 appart from a whopping whole in your bank
balance, then a good second-hand bike made sense.

As mentioned nothing has been altered, even has the standard exhaust and will
stay like this for the meantime.

Stage 1. Handle Bars
As well documented within the DR250 pages , I hate low [standard] bars but its not
just the height , the bend must be right too and yes you've guessed it I hate "straight" bars !
So to make life more comforatable, especially when standing, on have gone a pair of Renthal
Enduro Pro High bars or Dakar High as Renthal would like to call them. First time out
and they felt great, can stand-up easier, weight the front and ride with a more "agressive" stance
all-in-all one of the great mods you can make to any bike ...get the correct bars and feel
the difference. Go check out the Renthal site and make your choice.
