Team Justoffroad Racing

Formerly Team Dirtybits.com [2001-2003]

Just who we are and why we're here.
Initially a bunch of guys who went out trail-bashing together &

then somehow got dropped into it literally by web-site founder &
wanna be racer (before its to late) Greg R, who at his age should
know better.

Greg.." I'd done some trials and motocross in my early years, then drifted into road bikes and have gone fullcircle back to off-road riding. It was only fair that I try to get the other guys out onto the track and racing,,after all IT IS good fun, or thats what we keep telling each other "

Currently riding a fresh Yamaha WR250F.

Well its more fresh than I am !

Jeff , professional mechanic and self-confessed bike nut, used to ride a Kwaka KDX200 , then a TM250E & now hmm lets just say gone over the top with a Yamaha Banshee Quad , yep four wheels & MX for Jeff , but here's hoping he'll do the odd enduro with us too.

Duncan , no longer a newcomer to off-road racing . Jumped into the deep end and rode a very trick DR441 , then onto a KTM200 & has just settled with a KTM400, looking forward to funtimes this year !

Darren, still the youngest of the crew, is forever changing his bike to suit his "full-on" riding style, last time was out on a WR426 now come down to earth with a
KTM200 !

This is how it all looked a few Winters away ......
Well just when you thought alls well in the camp, someone has to shout "new bike"
and the flood gates open. Jeff has jumped ship & bought an ex-works TM250 from
Steve King, who gave it a last outing at SETRA's Mark Andrew event, so we know
its damm fast. Darren who had rushed out and bought a RM250 for modifying into
enduro spec' then dropped that idea and jumped aboard Jeff's now vacant KDX !

Confused , we where ....

In the meantime the two DR boys, Duncan & Greg are still hanging with the 4T class
with Greg looking for some extra grunt, in the shape of a 280+kit , anyone !!!

Jan 12th Update .. more bike moves , Greg after listening to team mates has sold his
250 & found a local DRZ400E, all in one very busy day. Should be interesting to see whos
made the right moves.

All will be contesting rounds of the Cotswold Enduro Club & other selected events,
feel free to drop-bye for a regular update on how the DB team is doing.

April Update .. the guys just can't keep still .. Darren has thrown caution to the wind &
followed Greg with the purchase of a DRZ400E 2k1 model, after selling the KDX &
Duncan has sold his DR441 to buy a rather nice KTM200, so lots of changes and the
next meeting coming up soon May 12th at Blewburry - Ashdown Farm !

May time ... whats this some action ?
Well for some yes, Duncan & Darren contested the SE Reading Clubs enduro at
Ashdown, with mixed results. It seems the club can't distinguish between a Champ'
entry and a Hare n Hound entry, needless to say the DB riders where put in the wrong class !
Jeff was already out with a twisted knee (ouch) & Greg thought it safer to be on the other
side of the camera lense ..

Duncan getting to grips with the KTM ....whilst
......Darren flys the DRZ400 !

But now Team Justoffroad Racing [04]

Greg : Back after some time away , Dec 03 & found a nice well looked after WR250F[03]
which after initial ride-outs is proving to be just the ticket !

Jeff : Currently working damm hard on re-building the Banshee for a serious run at this years
quad championships, especially with the Hampshire Motocross Club. Looking for a new motor
anyone ?

Duncan : Looking forward to the first meeting on the KTM400

Darren : Wow an update from Darren , he's dropped all the hype
about big 4T machines and like another good friend on mine, gone
the KTM200 route. Seems to have been the rite choice with a 7th
in the Clubman class at the CEC run Whaddon event. The next
meeting is at Hope-under-Dinmore on 11th April, wish me luck
all the best Darren .[March 04]

Gregs back in action , May 27th 04 .
First meeting for two years , has it really been that long !, SCEC event
at Shillingstone Forest , notorious for its steep climbs and drop-off-the
world inclines. Determined to finish , Greg rode steady [his words] to
18th in class [of 36] , did 4 laps [only two H&H riders did 6] and was
well pleased even though a little pooped afterwards . Bring on the next
event. Since then have found another set of wheels and has been training
hard weekends with the trials tyre still on the rear from Shillingstone.

More to follow soon,
